DOCX Rich Preview
Full-Text Preview has long been a feature of LexWorkplace, enabling users to see a (text-only) preview of most document types, from the LexWorkplace interface, without opening the Document. This functionality, to date, has been limited to text-only.
PDF Documents have been the single exception to the plain-text-only format of Document Preview (PDFs are rendered and displayed in-line in Document Preview).
With this latest LexWorkplace update, DOCX (MS Word Document) files will now render in full, “rich” format. This includes most formatting, images, and other elements.
Matter Description
We’ve added a new field to Matters: Matter Description
Here, users can enter a short description or summary of this Matter or project. This description will help inform other members of your firm to quickly get up-to-speed on the purpose/objective for any given Matter, as well as provide important context to LexWorkplace AI.
You can also show/hide the Matter Description as a column in the Matter list view.
Misc. UI Bugfixes
This release also contains various fixes to minor UI bugs, including incorrect table sorting behavior.
